A Gift? #WordsMatter #icdreams

Welcome to #wordsmatter, and the prompt this lovely (winterish) December is :  ‘If I could give/receive one gift…..’

This prompt had me jump up and promptly start making a list – and I realised that the prompt is ONE GIFT – and interestingly, first of all, one I could give!

So, One Gift If I could give to you, it would be the Gift of Wisdom!

I would wish upon you the wisdom to know it is YOU!

“God,
grant me the serenity
to accept the people I cannot change,
the courage to change the one I can,
and the wisdom to know it’s ME. “

The next part of the prompt, a Gift I wish I could Receive – ONE Gift! Uff, what a tough one, between books and perfumes and eye shadow palettes and craft kits and endless supply of yummy coffee….. well, if I had to pick one, then I wish the ability to manage my Energy!

With this question as I reflected upon 2019 that was, and the 2020 I wish will be, I wish for the wisdom to know that it is ME and MY ENERGY that will set this year up for Joy and Happiness for me and everyone around me!

I pray you receive the gifts you wish for, and I hope, every time you think of me, you do so with a positive heart and thought for me 🙂

I received this tag from Monika at http://meralifestyle.com/.
It’s my pleasure to pass on this tag to Shilpa at http://fictionandi.blogspot.com/.

  1. It’s what most of us would wish for, Ishieta. WIsdom and energy. The two things that we need as we go through life.
Me? I would want some wisdom, too, and good health, or the ability to know what’s good for me and what’s not. 🙂

  2. How sweet! It is indeed difficult to pick just one gift, but managing our time and energy is the best thing we need.

  3. Wise choice for giving and receiving gifts. Both wisdom and energy complement each other and are needed to move ahead in life. May you give and receive both of these, Ishieta!

  4. Nice way to actually look inwards. A gift of wisdom is something really great to give and receive as well. The other gift which would make the world a better place is the gift of Kindness.

  5. I agree with you that it’s really hard to pick one gift. If I have to pick one gift that’ll be healthy me. Wisdom is necessary but health is the main thing for me.

  6. Love the prompt and your approach towards it. The one gift that I could give to myself is to control my anger.

  7. Energy is the most important thing that we can have that keeps us going. I have experienced myself how weak I feel when I am draining and there’s still a lot of work to be finished.
A good choice as a gift.

  8. Loved your idea of gifting.. The gifts you choose will remain with your forever. Wisdom is the most priceless gift. Way to go gal. Great post.

  9. Both wisdom & energy are quite thoughtful gifts you chose to give & receive. Our happiness depends a lot on these things. This was actually an interesting prompt for a blog hop. Loved your post!

  10. Love your idea about gifting with some unusual stuff. Which makes people happy and connected. Totally connected with your thought. I must tell this is a great thought

  11. The wisdom to carry on and keep our positive energy afloat is something we can all do with right now. This is such a good prompt and you did it well.

  12. A difficult choice to make. I would cherry-pick neither energy nor time. I would say- the wish would be to be at peace with all that I have- all the time and energy. What a sweet post, girl. Gets you to pause, for a bit.
