Women Health – Irregular Periods – Ayurveda Solution by Namyaa
Happy New Year Folks!
A new year, a new opportunity to look at ourselves and the life we want to build!
I love this time of the year as it gives me an opportunity to take a break and reset my goals and priorities. And most importantly, do the homework around the HOW of WHAT I want to achieve.
One of the things that I, along with my friends have decided to prioritise this year is HEALTH.
So when we girls sat down for a zoom call with our cuppas, we discovered that each of us have been dealing with multiplied tasks, reduced sleep and stress load higher than what we have dealt with before, and of course eating (or rather overeating!). And this could singularly be seen in the impact it has had on the menstrual cycles.
An irregular cycle is something to pause and check on! It can be an early indicator of a reproductive health complication, or changes in hormones which have a much larger and far reaching effect on a woman’s health.
Irregular periods can also be a warning for reproductive health complications like PCOD, thyroid disorder, cervical or uterine cancer, endometriosis and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. These are serious concerns and we did not know much about any of them.
So we decided to do some homework and research to figure out what is going on, how much do we need to worry, and what is a good solution to manage this (without necessarily going down the allopathic medicines path!)
Here is what we found:
Irregular periods can be caused by stress (this is something I have seen myself, stress of an exam result, and the dates would shift!), depression, any sort of hormonal imbalance, weight fluctuations, whether over weight or underweight, over exercising, and side-effects from different medicines.
They can even be caused due to disruption in sleep (duration, the time and quality), or change in eating habits (unhealthy choices – you know what I am talking about it!).
If you have PCOS/PCOD or the symptoms, and add to that the lack of exercise this increases the level of stress which may cause fluctuations in the hormones, that can result in irregular periods which needs to be treated immediately, and we found that the ayurvedic solution by Namyaa was recommended.

When reading about this, I was amazed to know the statistics being reported for 2020!
Did you know that doctors have reported an increase of 20% in the number of women coming to them with irregular periods.
The pandemic has seen an unprecedented increase in the stress everyone is going through, and it has affected women’s bodies in the form of increased levels of prolactin – a hormone that directly affects the menstrual cycle!
A solution worth checking out: Namyaa Anartava

An Ayurvedic syrup that helps to regularise the menstrual
cycle and is a long lasting solution for delayed periods.
It helps to restore the natural menstrual cycle to 28-31 days, and also helps
promote timely ovulation, treats hormonal imbalance, and removes toxins as it
helps in blood purification.
It contains powerful natural ingredients like: Aloe Vera, Pippali, Karanja, Krishna-Tila, Kultha and other rare and certified beneficial herbs and extracts.
Once again PCOD & PCOS remain to be some of the most problematic complaints of most women. Our stressful lifestyle predominantly contributes to the same. Namyaa AArthava Kshaya is a natural solution innovated to address the problems of irregular cycles and also promotes ovulation.

Namyaa also has another addition in the range, namely the Namyaa Shwetkanika that has been again made keeping in mind the problems of those who face issues of excessive white discharge. White or smelly discharge often makes us feel tired, out of energy, causes extreme itching and many more correlated problems. Kabab Chini, Fitkari, Gular etc. are some of its major ingredients that help to cure the very source cause of white discharge.

Ultimately, leading a healthy lifestyle is of paramount
importance.
We need to sleep well, have a healthy diet, exercise in moderation, not indulge
in any excesses or poor habits, and keep our stress levels in check!
Hope this article helps you in your journey to a healthier you in 2021!
Cheers!
