Zee5 Kehne ko Humsafar Hai S3
The Summer holidays are the perfect time to get into some story watching!!! And what better entertainment than watching Kehne ko Humsafar Hai S3 on ZEE5
Yep! That super cute serial of the dysfunctional family is back with season 3 and I am super excited for my weekend!
I watched the first two seasons and see-sawed between splits of laughter and tears!
First, let me tell you about the ONE thing that absolutely has me in FAN mode in this serial —- the ACTORS!
What a
casting coupe for ‘Kehne ko Humsafar Hai’
to get Ronit Roy, Mona Singh and Suchitra Pillai (tho’ in a smaller
role) in this show!! I am WOW-ed!
Yes, Yes, I belong to that generation that grew up watching these actors storm
the T.V screen with their acting and shows.
Ronit Roy was (is) a guy we all had a crush on, we all wanted the Mona Singh
sweetness and the Suchitra Pillai hotness!
And, even today, it is clear to see that these actors are absolute powerhouses and so realistic in their portrayal that YOU, the viewer, will get pulled right into the story and be taken along for the ride.
The other
actors, though not so well know to me, are also really good, Like really!!!
I would have thought that with so many good actors coming together, the story
would become a messy soup (or khichdi) – but that has not been so!
The actors, dialogues and storyline come together beautifully to tell you a story which enchants right from episode 1.

Check out the trailer for the new season on ZEE5 and you will understand my fascination with this series! #RishtonKiUljhan
I am strongly opinionated on matters of the heart and morales and this series absolutely delights me as it peels away layers of human nature and its (non) sophistication.
Sometimes,
people who are individually nice – when mixed together, become a recipe for
disaster!
And the people around them, especially the children pay the price, and to a
great extent get shaped by these experiences.
What is interesting in this series, and where I feel it puts it apart from the
usual sob story is that the characters rise above the conflicts to still try to
give their family (and more importantly their children) a semblance of
rootedness and normalcy.
While this show pulls at your heart, you cannot turn your face away from the reality of what relationships are like in real life! And on the other hand, the lightness is so subtly built into the storyline that you cannot but help your strings pull as you laugh along with their antics.

PS: I Love Mona Singh and this is another series which is a testament to her acting and the choice of programs she gets involved in.
When the first season came out, I knew then that this was going to be a good show! But I didn’t expect to get pulled in and hooked : – ) and actually wait for the next season!
So, right on time for my summer vacation, thanks to ZEE5 I have JUST the entertainment lined up!
Have you seen the trailer? Or any of the seasons? What did you think?
(recommend other ZEE5 shows to me please – I am an avid ZEE5 Originals follower now!)
Cheerfully,
I
